Two
years ago, on 25 November, I was watching news around 11 in night. on the
ticker it said that there was some firing in Mumbai. I thought like
" its Mumbai, bhai logon ka illaka, it happens" and went
to sleep. in the morning I saw how that small news that came on the ticker
metamorphosed into something which made every Indian sit down and watch news
channels for the next two days. for everyone it was like watching a Hollywood
action blockbuster on a NEWS CHANNEL. We never thought that our armed forces
would be capable enough to do things that they did that day. I was surprised to
see the commandos sliding down ropes from helicopters, while others just fired
the shit out of the terrorists from adjacent building using there AK-47s and
MP-25s.
The
best thing came in the end, I think a really concerned official ordered "
I WANT THE "BEST" BUS OUT THERE TO TRANSPORT MY MEN BACK TO BASE
" and guess what they got it. the commandos who risked their life and
fought were transported on a BEST bus. so many lives were lost, many brave
souls. But the very next day everything was back to normal in Mumbai, and we
lauded them for that.
After
that Big B blogged about how he had a gun beneath his pillow, and we saw how
Sachin leaved NSG training center with tears in his eyes, I think that's what
makes this guy great. he is humble, after all he has achieved, he still wants
to go on. and he is also a proud Indian. wait, there was something else as
well. how could I forget that? the Kerala CM made the "dog" remark
regarding the family of major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. which he apologized for
later.
In
Facebook I had Sandeep Unnikrishnan as DP. And a friend of mine asked "
WHO IS THIS?".
That’s it,
we have forgotten, everything.
We
just live on, just for the sake of living. I was once heard an actor say,
" that our generation has an attention span of a RODENT”. I think that's
not correct,
" We, INDIANS, have
an attention span that’s even worse than that of a rodent. "
