Here
comes the review of the most discussed and talked about film of the
year ‘Rockstar’. As the name suggests this Imtiaz Ali film is
all about music and music alone. Does the music stand for ite hype?
Has A R Rahman been able to prove his mettle another time? The
answer is simply a YES and what more, the music has took the movie
to another level. A R Rahman has outdone himself once again and
proved that no one can stand before his music. The album consists
of 14 tracks including 3 instrumentals. Almost all the tracks
contain the voice of Mohit Chauhan who apparently is the screen
voice of Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor. It also marks the comeback of
Kavitha Krishnamurthy after a long gap. I dont have any clue about
how well i could review the tracks,it has a feel that is beyond words. I
would just list out the tracks here, rather than reviewing them, you
should actually hear them all.

The
Guitars for Sadda Haq have been provided by Orianthi who was
supposed to be the lead guitarist of MJ during his “THIS IS IT”
world tour, this particular track is already a rage. What struck me
most about these songs is that they don’t follow a routine
pattern in which a Bollywood song is made and its been put raw and
is made to sound imperfect. The last 3 tracks are the instrumentals
in the album. A R Rahman has lended his voice for 2 songs, Naadan
Parindey which is a concert song and Kun Faaya Kun which is a Sufi
song. One thing I would like to say about this album is that it contains all
genres of music you know, as well as the Genres you wouldn't know.
Whatever music you are looking for is there in the album. It’s a
must buy guys. I wouldn't rate this album, its one rare album which
falls under the category, which i call LEGENDARY.
